El Portal provides free access anytime to resources that aren’t free on the Internet.  El Portal is free to anyone in New Mexico. Need to look at the repair manual for your car?  Check out the Chilton manuals. Looking to start your own business?  Try El Portal’s Small Business Resource Center. Trying to read a news story, but can’t access it without a subscription? Try Newsbank.

El Portal also includes BrainFuse HelpNow for homework and study help for students of all ages and levels. BrainFuse JobNow provides career resources, and resume and interview help.

El Portal is provided by the New Mexico State Library.

Tutoring

High school equivalency test preparation and other education support for adults is offered by the library’s partner organization, Literacy Link-Leamos. They also offer tutoring for students of all ages.
