Donations
The library accepts monetary donations and donations of books. Book donations should be placed in the donation bin to the right of the silver book return bin. It is the bin further from the Cooper Street doors. If you have multiple boxes of books to donate, please do not leave them on or around the book bin. We do not want the books to be damaged by the weather. Please contact the Friends of the Library at folsilvercitynm@gmail.com or call the library at 575-538-3672 to arrange for large book donations.
Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library supports the library and has books available to purchase from the large Friends bookcases in the library building. They also maintain a shelf of free books near the library front desk. Larger book sales occur at the Friends book store at 1510 W. Market Street in Silver City. The Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Membership forms are available at the library. Email folsilvercitynm@gmail.com to inquire about membership, donations, and volunteering opportunities.
