The Silver City Public Library will offer free library card replacements from Saturday, September 13 through Saturday, September 20 in celebration of Library Card Signup Month.
On Saturday, September 13, free replacements are part of Love Your Library Day, hosted by Literacy Link – Leamos from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the library. Activities that day include free book giveaways, door prizes, storytime (11–12 PM), puppets, games, crafts, snacks, and an acoustic jam on the lawn with The Mesquiteers from 12:30–2:00 PM. The Blue Cross/Blue Shield Care Van will also be on site offering free health literacy resources and childhood immunizations.
If you’ve lost your card, this is the perfect opportunity to regain access to both physical and digital library services. Remember, your first library card is always free!
