Reopening Tuesday, June 1

The Silver City Public Library will reopen to the public on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. The library’s hours will be as follows:

Closed Sunday and Monday
Tuesday           9:00am – 6:00pm
Wednesday      9:00am – 6:00pm
Thursday         9:00am – 6:30pm
Friday              9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday          9:30am – 2:45pm

Curbside service will be canceled May 25-28 while library staff members make final preparations for re-opening.

The library will be closed May 29-31 for the Memorial Day holiday.

After the library building re-opens, library staff encourage those who must continue to exercise caution in public spaces to contact the library at 575-538-3672 for assistance in accessing resources. The library’s online resources like e-books, homework and study help, career tools, and research tools are still available.

Summer Reading Program registration is ongoing and anyone can register by calling 575-538-3672, emailing programs@silvercitymail.com, or sending the library a message on Facebook. Summer Reading Program registration will be available in-person when the building opens starting June 1.
