Public computers
Computers with office applications and internet access are available. The time limit is 1 hour. Additional time may be granted if there is no one waiting.
The library also offers options for computer use in the meeting rooms, particularly for job interviews, online classes, online medical appointments, and other online meeting needs. Call or stop by to ask about borrowing equipment and reserving meeting room space.
The internet computers in the children’s area are for minors under 17 only. Log in with a children’s/teen library card or ask for a guest pass from the upper level service desk. The children’s room also has two AWE Early Literacy Station computers for children ages 2-8 and one AWE AfterSchool Edge computer for ages 8-12. These computers have built-in games, no internet necessary. Launchpad tablets by Playaway are available to borrow inside the library building. These are durable tablets preloaded with games for kids of all skill and learning levels.
The computers in the teen area are for teens age 12 to 19. Log in with a teen library card or ask for a guest pass from the lower level service desk. All teen area computers are loaded with Krita and GIMP for digital drawing and photo manipulation.

The library wireless internet is an open network, no password required. Be aware that this means it is less secure than our public desktop computers, and communications over the network could be intercepted. There are several tables and chairs in the library with power outlets nearby to plug in your devices.
Adults with library cards in good standing can borrow internet hotspots. These use cell phone towers to get internet access. They emit a wireless signal that several devices can use to connect. Hotspots can be checked out for one week at a time. You may download and view the hotspot policy here: HotspotPolicy_Updated2025 (PDF, 63KB)

Copying and Scanning
There is a copy machine/scanner near the library front desk. Copies are black and white and cost $0.10 per page. (Double-sided pages are $0.20, $0.10 per side.)
To scan a document into digital format, you must have a USB-A “thumb drive” or “flash drive” to plug into the scanner. You may also purchase a drive from the library service desk for $2.00. The scanner will save the document to the drive.
There is no cost for scanning.
The library does not offer faxing or notary services. We recommend visiting a local copy/mail center for faxing.
