The Second Week of SRP

We had a blast doing this weeks activities.

We started off with Little Artist’s Club with Donna. She had about 25 kids show up to create salt jelly fish. Which turned out beautifully.

Then we made Leis on Tuesday. We had about 45 people, who created wonderful Leis. Some used it as a headband, and others wore those the regular way.

We had story time with Becky Nell. We went over sails, and boats. We created a little paper plate boat.

Next, we had ocean themed trivia. We had ten kids show up and compete. There were questions on sea animals, pollution, the Titanic and more. The winner got a grab bag.

Today, Friday, June 17th, we have a share circle, where people come in and tell us about their summer. It is like a show and tell but you do not need anything to show. Just tell us all the best parts of the summer and what you are looking forward to.

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 18th, we have Minecraft. Come on in and play. Create new worlds and explore. Play with friends.

Also tomorrow, Saturday, June 18th, we will be a Gough Park with Jump into Summer. Come and play lawn games and sign up for the Summer Reading Program so you can join in on the fun.
