You may have noticed lots of advice going around the internet regarding COVID-19– how it is transmitted, how it affects the body, whether there is a cure, how to disinfect things. Beware of Facebook posts stating that they contain “really good advice” from an unnamed medical professional or medical school faculty member. The best sources of accurate information are the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website and the World Health Organization (WHO) website. Common myths about COVID-19 are debunked on this WHO web page.
