Summer is here and that means summer reading program. The Silver library takes part in the Collaborative Summer Library Program and this year, they came out with new author talks. These are a web series that will be recorded so you can watch them that day or for a long time after. On July 9, they had Mercy Watson and Kate DiCamillo on talking about books for younger kids. And on July 30, they will be talking to Dan Santat, who is a graphic novelist and has won many awards for his kids’ books. Take a journey on what it is like to be an author and the messages they hope to pass on. It is always a great time to hear these authors talk.
