Update as of May 30, 2023: interlibrary loan will remain unavailable through the month of June. We will make an announcement when we can process interlibrary loan requests again.
The Silver City Public Library fills interlibrary loan requests through the New Mexico State Library. Due to current and upcoming staff shortages, the State Library will be pausing interlibrary loan operations beginning April 1 and continuing through May 31, 2023. We will not be able to offer interlibrary loans during this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Students and senior citizens taking WNMU classes can request interlibrary loans at the WNMU Miller Library. There is no charge. Non-students can request an interlibrary loan at the Miller Library, but they must join the Friends of Miller Library and there will be fees depending on the number of requests.
