The library’s 2021 Summer Reading Program will run from June 1 to July 16! Complete a Summer 2021 reading log and win prizes! All age groups can participate: infants/toddlers, kids ages 6-12, teens, and adults!

There will be Grab-and-Go Craft Bags distributed at a table outside for six weeks between June 1 and July 16. There will be 60 bags available each week, first come, first served. We will post a tutorial of every craft on our YouTube channel and link to the videos on our Facebook page.
Play with others at Virtual Minecraft Club every Tuesdays at 4:00 pm. Send us your username to be added to the Library Minecraft Realm!
Online Storytime happens on Wednesdays at 10:00am on the Library YouTube channel. Video links are posted to Facebook.
Keep an eye on the library Facebook page and library Instagram for activities to try! We will use the hashtag #silvercityreads Share your reading, experiences, and craft creations online using #silvercityreads , too!
The library Summer Reading Program would not be possible without the support of the Friends of the Library, who provide funding for reading logs, incentives, equipment for activities, and everything else we need to make the program a success each year.
