Mobile Hotspots Now Available to Borrow

Mobile internet hotspots are now available to borrow at the library! This is part of a 60-day pilot program organized by the New Mexico State Library in collaboration with T-Mobile. During the program, several public libraries in New Mexico will lend Wi-Fi Hotspots to community members. Each device at the Silver City Public Library may be borrowed for up to seven days, limit one device per household. There will be no renewals on the hotspots, and they cannot be reserved during this pilot period.

Borrowers must

—be an adult age 18 or older

—have a library card in good standing

—read and sign the borrower agreement

—take responsibility for the care of the device

—return the device to staff at the library front desk
