Catalina Claussen will present her newly-published young adult book Diamonds at Dusk, on Tuesday, May 24, 4:30pm-5:30pm at the Silver City Public Library. This event is free and open to the public. Diamonds at Dusk is a place-based novel full of romance and adventure set in Southwestern New Mexico and reflecting the rural teen experience. Claussen is a founding English teacher at Aldo Leopold Charter School in Silver City, and a long-time resident of the Mimbres Valley. She is a graduate of Reed College, Prescott College, and Western New Mexico University in 2012. She studied in the graduate writing program under Sharman Russell and Dr. Mary Leen.
