The New Mexico Small Business Development Center at Western New Mexico University is hosting a series of free workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs and current small business owners. The events will be held at their Silver City and Deming locations, as noted in the following schedule.

May 5 – “Bookkeeping for Small Business,” 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Room 112, Watts Hall, 500 18th Street
May 24 – “Advertising for Your Small Business”, 5:30-7:30 pm, Room 112, Watts Hall, 500 18th Street
June 15 – “Financing Your Business,” Mimbres Valley Learning Center, Deming
July 17-23 – “New Mexico Economic Development Course,” WNMU Global Resource Center, ABC Room
September 13 or 14 – Panel: Financing Sources, Deming and Silver City locations to be announced
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers free management consulting and assistance with free computer/internet use for businesses in the southwest corner of New Mexico. The Silver City Public Library is pleased to partner with the SBDC on a regular basis to offer technology workshops geared towards entrepreneurs, artists, freelancers, and small businesses.
