Summer Reading Activities June 23-26

Here’s what’s happening this week for summer reading!

Tuesday, June 23, 10:30am: Storytime (all ages)

Wednesday, June 24, 10:30am: Indiana Bones, Adventure Storyteller (all ages)

Indiana Bones, “Keeper of Legends,” will thrill us with stories of legendary heroes. Combining archeology, action, adventure, ancient legends, mythology and folklore, Indy thrills and educates audiences with his unique storytelling abilities. Indy finds that the combination of history, legends and ghost stories from around the world offers the perfect backdrop for digging up the old stories. Indiana Bones has traveled the world to gather his stories. With the use of artifacts, fossils, lively puppets and a crack of his bull whip, Indy leads the audience on a journey through time. Wednesday, June 24, 4:00pm: Lego Club (ages 4+)

Thursday, June 25, 10:30am: Storytime (all ages)

Thursday, June 25, 5:00pm: Movie (all ages)

Friday, June 26, 2:00pm: WildWorks youth hangout with guided circuit project Simple Lie Detector (ages 10+)

 

The third prize drawings for youth and adult summer reading will be this week.

Summer Reading for all ages (0-18 and adults) starts June 3 and ends July 17. You can register throughout the summer. Keep track of your reading with a reading log, review slips, or bingo sheet, (depending on your age group) and win prizes!
